アメリカを公式訪問している安倍首相は27日、ボストン郊外のハーバード大学で学生と質疑応答を行い、いわゆる従軍慰安婦問題について、旧日本軍の関与を認めた河野談話を継承する考えを改めて示した。
学生「何百人、何千人にという女性が性的奴隷として強制的に連行されたということを否定するのか」
安倍首相「人身売買の犠牲となって、筆舌に尽くしがたい思いをされた方々のことを思うと、今でも私は胸が痛む。この思いは歴代の首相の思いと変わりはありません」（2015年4月28日 6時17分 日テレNEWS24）
テレビではこの質問をした学生も映されていて、彼が韓国系の学生であるとわざわざキャプションを付けていた。問題はここにもある。

もちろん、国内の安倍晋三を支持する「もういい加減謝らなくなって良いだろう」派の皆さんはこの種の米国の論調については、全然わかっちゃない、韓国が活発に利権をちらつかせてやっているロビー活動のせいだ、と切って捨てるんだろうが、それで終わることができるのかといったら、それはまったく具体性があるとはいえないだろう。ちなみにここで質問をしたJoe Lee Choeは3年生だとは書いてあるけれど、彼がその祖先がどこから来たのかについては何も触れられていない。
ロイターもApr 27, 2015 10:21pm ISTでこの「heart ache」については取り上げているが、誰がこの質問をしたのかについては何も触れられていない。
また、外では何人もの抗議者がピケを張っていたことについて外国メディアは書いているけれど、日本のテレビニュースでは、私が見た限りでは触れられていない。
「胸は痛む」けれど、それだから、どうだ、ということについては一言も触れられていない。
